Accurate prediction of the multiphase pressure loss; selection of suitable pumps and compressors.
Motivation
Lack of experimental data in various multiphase flow configurations. In particular, tests are desirable with multiphase flows at high pressure.
Available resources
ECT Tomography; venturi; orifice plates; nozzles; Temperature sensors: thermocouples; Pressure Transducers; Software PIV / PTV; Laser.
Expected results
Models and correlations to predict pressure drop in multiphase flows; numerical packages.
